What Is A HIAB Driver? ALLMI Training And Qualification

What is a HIAB driver? A HIAB driver is someone who loads and offloads goods from a vehicle that has a lorry-mounted crane attached. If your work is going to involve loading and offloading goods from a vehicle that has a lorry-mounted crane attached, you will need a HIAB training licence, also sometimes referred to as an ALLMI Certificate.

This week we welcome the latest edition to Phelan Haulage, our DAF XF510 artic lorry with Palfinger PK62000 EH crane. Featuring our signature blue and red colours, along with the PH livery, this new lorry loader can can reach 16.1 meters at 2650 Ton and haul loads (including STGO category 2 special type) up to 80 tonnes.
